We have found that the curlsbot ingredient checker is also limited in it's understanding of function in regards to certain ingredients such as Cyclopentasiloxane which, given the suffix, identifies this ingredient as silicone that may cause build-up. Instead Cyclopentasiloxane will evaporate entirely from the hair and provides many lasting benefits for curly hair.
